Employing the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product), the study assessed needs, resource adequacy, management processes, and outcomes of sports facility utilization at the Gunungkidul Campus. The findings revealed differences in perceptions among facility managers, students, and the surrounding community, which form the basis for strategic improvement recommendations.
The study highlights the importance of integrated promotion strategies, digitalization of reservation services, competitive pricing adjustments, and community collaboration to enhance the effectiveness and productivity of sports facility management, thereby strengthening institutional income-generating capacity.
This academic achievement aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) through improved management of educational facilities, SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by optimizing institutional assets for sustainable revenue, and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) through effective and sustainable infrastructure management.
